BIO

Aditi Saxena is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Vivekananda Global University, and is currently teaching courses in Political Science and International Relations. She was awarded the UGC- NET Junior Research Fellowship in 2022 and is a research fellow at the School of International Studies, Central University of Gujarat. Her research work focuses on the intersection of strategic technologies and geopolitics, with particular focus on India-US relations. She regularly publishes in national and international journals as well as popular writings.

  • Presented a paper titled “Factoring the Impact of Critical and Emerging Technologies in India–US Cooperation” at the ICSSR-sponsored and School of International Studies organised Two-Day National Conference “Viksit Bharat 2047: Shaping India’s Global Engagements”, held on 24–25 March 2025 at the Central University of Gujarat, Kundhela, Vadodara, Gujarat.
  • Presented a paper titled “Security and Political Challenges of Cross-Border Cyber Espionage in India” at the Two-Day International Conference “Seema-Vimarsh 2025: Cross-Border Infiltration – Impact on Socio-Economic, Cultural and Political Milieu”, held on 21–22 August 2025 at the University of Delhi, New Delhi.

Participation in Seminars/Workshops -

  • Participated in and successfully completed the Professional Development Programme on “Implementation of NEP-2020 for University and College Teachers”, held from 21–31 December 2022, and obtained an ‘A+’ Grade under the UGC-approved Short-Term Professional Development Programme of the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching.
  • Participated in the Two-Day National Seminar on “Ideas of India’s Eminent Educational Thinkers and Transformative Education through NEP-2020”, jointly organised by the School of International Studies, Central University of Gujarat and the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Policy Research and International Studies, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, held on 27–28 February 2025.
  • Participated in the Author’s Workshop for the upcoming book “G-20 & Global South: Understanding Divergences, Exploring Convergences”, contributing a chapter titled “Analysing India’s Cooperation with the Global South at Multilateral and Unilateral Levels”, held on 17 March 2025 at Goa University.
  • Successfully completed the 10-Day Workshop on “DefAI: Cyber and AI Frontiers for Defence”, hosted by the Centre for Land and Warfare Studies (CLAWS), held from 14–25 July 2025, securing an A+ Grade with a score of 90/100.
